If you are experiencing a current crisis or are feeling suicidal, please seek immediate assistance by contacting:

  • Lifeline on 13 11 14. Lifeline is an Australia wide 24 hour telephone crisis support service available to anyone needing emotional support.
  • The Suicide Call Back Service on 1300 659 467. The Suicide Call Back Service provides crisis counselling to people at risk of suicide, carers for someone who is suicidal and those bereaved by suicide, 24 hours per day 7 days a week across Australia.
  • Your local hospital. Phone your local hospital 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to speak to someone from the mental health service associated with your hospital.
  • Emergency services on 000. The triple zero service (000) is the quickest way to get the right emergency service to help you. It should be used to contact Police, Fire or Ambulance services in life threatening or emergency situations.
